1. Talcum powder in high quality can be applied as functional goo control agent and for coating class. Lower grade talcum powder are mainly applied for filling materials and costs saving.

2.It is irrational to determine the high purity of talc from Fe2O3<1% Whiteness>85% SiO2>58% and LOI<8.5%. In talc industry many impurities ingredient from talc may cause a False Appearance such as talc with high purity. An instance is High-calcium contained talc at 92% Whiteness the real talc ingredient may be from 30% to 60% only. Another example is High wollastonite ingredient may lead SiO2 percentage is close to theoretical result of talc but the real talc ingredient may be less than 40%. All the impurities from above are not in Piece Structure obviously it is hard to bring positive functional effect as pure talc.

3. Talcum ingredient determination shall be handled through XRD or Differential thermal analysis. We recommend that to asking for XRD detection report from authority organization and rationally confirm the real talc ingredient instead focus on percentage of SiO2 MgO and LOI only.

4. For lower grade paper-production there is no strict requirement for talcum ingredient non-talcum ingredient higher than 65% is also possible for such production those type of talcum powder can be applied for Low-speed paper machine low-grade filling material.

5. High calcium type talc (calcite>15%) has advantages of high whiteness and low hardness it can be applied as filling material in High-speed paper-production machine. But the calcium carbonate will be resolved in acidic condition which cause difficulties for paper-making process usually the type of talc should not be applied into acidic sizing.

6. Talc with high fibrous impurities which involves wollastonite amphibole and asbestos etc it can bring improvement effect for tensile strength loose depth retention rate of ash content and filler. But the type of talc would cause a serious abrasion to machines therefore the talc application in high-speed paper-making machine is restricted.

7. Talc with impurities of pyrophyllite and calcite etc are in soft lower abrasion issues for machine usually it can be applied into High-speed paper-making machine production and as coating filler for lower-grade paper production.

8. Talc with dolomite in high whiteness it will cause a serious abrasion issues to machine which can be applied for low-speed paper-making machine only. It will brings positive effects for paper in: whiteness improvement good retention ratio of ash content and filler.

9. Chlorite has similar characteristics to talc it means some chlorite ingredient contained will not cause damage to strengthen effectiveness the type of talc can be applied as filler for high-quality paper-making as coating filler for paper-making no abrasion issues and good for High-speed paper making machine.

10. Talc for controlling of resin deposit is different to filler purpose in chemical&physical characteristics we recommend client to select high purity talc in piece structure (Talc ingredient > 90%) for control agent purpose the talc shall be finer and with higher oil absorption ability (>40ml/100g).
